We are a group of highly motivated individuals from a variety of backgrounds, united by our passion for improving public community transport and its integration to the wider bus network.
Looking back, on 4 January 2022, a new community bus service First and Last Mile started up in West Oxfordshire, running from Long Hanborough to Standlake via Eynsham and the villages in between, offering connections to the main bus and train network to Witney, Oxford and beyond. This service was developed to the point where other bus companies became interested and indeed have taken these over.
So, from 1 September 2025, FLM will be operating the 471 service, running from Bablock Hythe through Northmoor, Stanton Harcourt, Sutton and South Leigh into Witney.
Not only do we run local services, We also would like to hear from anyone who needs advice on running their own community transport service or, indeed, has an idea/ request for new services. Obviously FLM cannot solve every problem but we are committed to helping like minded projects, companies where we can.
