Today we are pleased to announce free transport for Ukrainians on the 411 & 418 scheduled services of First & Last Mile buses only which run both North and South of Eynsham.
Back in March, FLM immediately started the process of supporting Ukrainian families by the issue of a single complementary 12-journey pass. This enabled Ukrainians to begin to acclimatise to life in the UK and help them gain access to wider support than whatever they had access to local to their homes.
Also recently we provided a driver and took a bus full of Ukrainians to a bonfire night fireworks display. This was supported by a small donation.
We are now pleased to be able to provide a further 12 journey passes free courtesy of this grant. This not only helps families to access local services but to connect with the wider bus and train network.
