New Flm School Service from North Leigh to Bartholomew

At the end of the last school year Bartholomew School withdrew their private Out of Catchment bus called the 2004a serving villages to the north of Eynsham. Parents whose children used the service were asked to make alternative arrangements.

Last month FLM was asked by a concerned parent if there is anything we could do, at short notice, to help.

As a result from September FLM will be running a service from Combe, Long Hanborough and North Leigh to Bartholomew School. This will be a closed service only open to those attending the school using one of our section 19 permits.

This is not a return to school transport as it was with the 418S from Standlake. That said, we hope it is a solution for a limited number of children which will enable them to continue to use the school of their choice without having to be driven. The hope is that as the word gets out, that the single minibus providing the service will become near close to capacity to help make the service sustainable.
