Like other scheduled bus services FLM serves all bus stops en route. If you look at timetables, some stops on the outward journey of our routes we list as request only. These are often small diversions to allow people to be picked up from additional locations that aren't on the main route but are often useful for particular passengers or groups of passengers.

Their purpose is to enable such people to still travel with the convenience of a closer stop than would otherwise might be the case. If the diversion becomes popular (such as Ferry Lane in Bablock Hythe or Church End in South Leigh) the request only stop might become become a full part of the route at some point in the future.  In this way we use request stops to trial new possibilities.

For passengers to make a request, please phone or text 07584 927050 at anytime. Typically at least the day beforehand is best to ensure the driver is aware. As long as drivers can be notified in time FLM will call at the request stop. If a request stop is used very regularly then we'll let you know if you don't need to contact us anymore.

FLM welcome suggestions new ideas for request stops but of course implementation of such ideas will be an operational matter with a view to keeping a healthy timetable.
