These services were generously donated by a Large Grant from the Low Carbon Hub and were designed to offer improved leisure opportunities for people in the area.
The services always had an official end date but if the services would have continued in some form if they had proved to be popular. Whilst FLM has attracted passengers on a Saturday a sizeable proportion of this is seasonal from those staying at the holiday park. With passenger numbers certain to fall FLM will not be continuing these services after Saturday 26 September.
It may be however that a Saturday service is looked at again in the future. Despite the trial coming towards its end it has still been a useful exercise and the service has been appreciated by those who used it. FLM will always try and match demand and sometimes it means a loss of a service little used whilst others are enhanced.
